Reading: Our story this week is: “Cool Ali”
Genre: Realistic Fiction. Realistic fiction is a story that shows characters as they are in real life.
Vocabulary Words:
1. admired – to have noticed something and liked it
2. fussed – showed unhappiness; complained
3. haze – misty, smoky, or dusty air
4. mimicked – copied
5. notice – to be aware of
6. pale – light in color
Math: We will continue with Ch. 6 and will test on next Monday, the 25th.
Social Science: We will begin research on an influential person. We will be doing research on the iPad and writing a report in class.
