3. haze – misty, smoky, or dusty air
4. mimicked – copied
5. notice – to be aware of
6. pale – light in color
Math: We will be testing on Ch. 6 some time this week. Timed test: subtraction, 50 problems, differences of 6, 4 minutes

*Monday, January 30th: 100th day of school While 2nd grade does not do anything special, it is fun to acknowledge!
9:30AM: groundbreaking for Middle School
*Tuesday, January 31st: book report due
*Georgia Day will be on Feb. 17th. Just a reminder that your child can wear a colonial costume or Native American costume. If they do not wear one of these, they need to wear their uniform.
