Reading: Our story this week: “Wilson Sat Alone”
Genre: Realistic Fiction - Realistic Fiction is a story with characters and events that are like people and events in real life.
Math – We will continue to work in Chapter 3.
Timed test – Wednesday 50 addition/3minutes/sums to 18.
Science – Communities Our first test will be on Tuesday, Sept. 16th. A study guide went home last week.
Creative Writing: using descriptive words to talk about our best friends
Language: We will continue to discuss different types of sentences and using a period, exclamation point, or question mark. We will have a Language test on Thursday which will cover capitals and punctuation.
Homework:
Every night you should have a math workbook page. Tuesday and Thursday: read weekly story
Tuesday: practice math facts for timed test
Thursday: study for reading and spelling test on Friday
