Genre: Nonfiction Biography – A biography is the story of a person’s life.

2. heroine – a woman who has done something very brave or helpful
3. hospitality – friendly treatment of guests or strangers
4. refused – would not do
5. spectators – people who watch
6. stood – was unchallenged
Math: We will begin Ch. 10 this week. Timed tests: differences of 9 in 3:30. Remember our goal is 50 problems differences of 9 in 3 minutes.
Social Science: We will continue to learn about How People and Plants Grow.

*Thursday, April 9th: McTeacher's Night at the Whitemarsh McDonald's store. Mrs. Perry will be working from 5-6! Come and see her!
*Our practice standardized test will be on Friday, April 10th.
*Standardized testing will be the week of April 13-17th. Each teacher will be planning fun activities after testing each day. She will be in touch with you as to how you can contribute supplies.
*This week is Screen Free week. A letter went home last week with details.
*Class pictures are this Thursday, April 9th. Please have the boys wear a RED non-uniform shirt and the girls wear a RED sweater or sweatshirt. No NUT cards on this day, please.
