Reading: Our story this week is: “From Seed to Plant”
Genre: Expository Nonfiction – Expository nonfiction gives facts about a topic. *Our test this week will be an open book test.
Vocabulary:
1. beautiful – very pretty
2. nutrition – food part that is needed for life and growth
3. protects – keeps safe from harm
4. ripens – mature and becomes ready to eat
5. streams – small rivers; brooks
Math: We will continue with Ch. 10 this week. Timed tests: differences of 9 in 3:30.
Social Science: How plants change and grow

*Grandparent's and Special Friends Day is Thursday, April 23rd. Look for an email from your teacher.
*April 28th: Field Trip to Tybee (A letter will come home soon with the details.)
*April 30th: Field Day
*May 5th: Reading Fair
